The TIFF Cocktail Party at Cannes 2015
Walking into a party with so many Canadians rubbing shoulders with filmmakers from around the globe made me realized the presence of TIFF, Telefilm & OMDC at Cannes as an essential bridge building service for our own film making community. To see the presence of Canadian talent across the Atlantic all together discussing the future of Canadian projects was inspiring. Being at this event gave me encouragement and hope that as a young filmmaker I can make a difference no matter how little or big my project is.
There are lots of exciting things to look forward to at this year’s TIFF 2015, September 10-20. I will see you there.
